Ronald has been fascinated by the film industry and has spent a lot of time watching many different style of movies. Always impressed by the performances of actors, directors, and producers, it is not easy to become a filmaker. So what makes a good film for people to watch ? The story? Cinematography? Acting? Editing? Lighting? Producing? An education in filmmaking? Probably all of the above. |

|
Ronald's first "Hands On" film, was a Tennis Instructional Video that he released in 2006. It took approximately 1 month to write the script, 1 month for the shoot and another month for the editing.t was quite an exciting experience. It was followed by Ronald's second release, "Blazing One-Handed Backhand", also produced and released in 2006. As much as "Monster Forehand" was relatively easy to do, "Blazing One-Handed Backhand" was more difficult as it took almost twice the time to be completed. Finding the right lighting everyday was |
a problem, as well as the very windy conditions that was making the sound takes difficult. Ronald is currently working on his 3rd release, "Total Fitness For Tennis", scheduled to be released during 2007. |
The producing of those DVD's was a great experience. Of course it is far far away from a real film production with a story line, actors, different locations, special effects and more, but it was a good start. His first real "Film" will come in the form of a documentary. The subject: Haiti. More about the documentary will be posted soon. |
Ronald's first Instructional DVD's can be purchased on his Tennis Coaching website (www.ronaldagenorcoachingzone.com) or at Film Baby, the Independent Movies Online Store: www.filmbaby.com (The trailer can be also viewed at Film Baby)
