-Ronald, Just wanted to say I am proud of you for all your accomplishments, especially your comeback. I have watched you battling a lot over the years and I hope you will stick around for a few more years. You are still a great player! Take care.

-Please don't think about retirement Ronald. I think you can beat Guga in the Montreal Open and then you can reach the semi final or final. And please don't think about retirement, you are the oldest of tour but you are looking handsome. I am your biggest Fan, I am Turkish and I am watching you every time. If you answer me I will be very very very very happy!
Burak Albayrak, Turkey.
-Dear Ronald, I was wondering if you are still playing on the ATP Tour. I saw you playing live in Barcelona in 1999. You beat Alvarez in what was probably the most enjoyable live tennis match I have ever seen.
Simon Crehan. GBR

-Hey Ronald, i hope this mail reaches you fine. Well, my name is Christian, i´m 26 yaers old, and i live in Hamburg, Germany. Since i can walk, i always wanted to play Tennis. First because of the famous german Boris Becker, but i realized very quick that i liked you a lot more. I am missing the great players from the late 80´s and early 90´s. The older I get, the less time i have to play Tennis, so i sat here and thought about my favorite Tennis Player when i was i little kid, when i played Tennis almost every day: Ronald Agenor. When i put your name into Google i thought that there will be only a few pictures and some old newspaper articles. Graet for fans like me that you have your own homepage! Two more things i like to say: 1. When you played in Hamburg somewhere in the 90´s i waited about an our in front of the players lodge, you gave me your authograph, and i got home as the happiest kid in the world, and i still have it at home. And 2.: Congratulations for your career and everything you did in your life. Feels good seeing peaceful people with outstanding archievments like you! your fan fom the "Hamburger Rothenbaum"
Christian Roessler. Hamburg, Germany
-Dear Ronald, My name is Michael Raschovsky. I live in a small village in Austria near our main town Vienna and I am a great admirer of you and your career as a professional tennis player. I was really quite happy about your comeback in 1999 which was for sure very hard in the age above 30. I wish all the best for the future.
Michael Raschovsky. Vienna, Austria.

-Hi Ronald, I have been a Fan of yours since you won the title in Cuba, in 1982. You are also one of the reasons that I started to play tennis. Now I am teaching this sport to my 6 year old son and he seems to have some athletic abilities. I would like to have one of your posters as inspiration for him. I also congratulate you on your outstanding career and for being a great human being by carrying a heavy burden of representing Haiti in tennis.
-Hi, I don't know if it will be Ronald Agenor who will read thi e-mail but if it is, let me congratulate you with your heroic fight against Connors in Roland Garros. I wish you best of luck for your next matches. Try to show us some more great game before quitting the Tour. Bonne chance
Benjamin Garrigues. Paris, France.

-Hello Sir, My name is Junji Akagi, I am 31 years old. I am a tennis player. I saw your website and I am inspired by all of your articles. I hope you will continue playing tennis long time. I hope I will see your play on TV more. Best regards.

-I went to your website tonight and I want to congratulate you on your incredible accomplishment...I came on a local level and can remember how hard it was to get through the soreness and pains and get any sort of confidence back...good job Ronald. I remember you from the norcal satellite in Blackhawk. I introduced myself to you, as I was impressed with your intensity and enjoyed watching you...it was the match on court one where your grip was messing you up. I was always wondering how you'd end up doing as I was 29 trying to get back into the swings of things...I was a highly ranked junior and I haven't played for the last few years as I'm doing my music full time (I am a musician). Your website aluded to the fact that you did not get the recognition for coming back so spectaularly well into your 30's...I just wanted to acknowledge that, as a player myself, I truly can recognize how amazing of a feat that was...congratulations, and thanks for your inspiring achievements.
Nico (aka Rob Levin) USA

-Hi Mr Agenor, my name is John. I am a huge tennis Fan and I recently came across your website. Your biography is amazing. What a long career you had. I was born in 1977, so I was able to follow some of your career when I became interested in in tennis in the late 80's. I'm sure being one of the best and most known Haitian athlete ever is a great blessing.
John Hampel. Mesa, Arizona
-Ronald, I saw you at the Coupe Davis in Haiti, and oh my Gosh, you are a wonderful tennis player. I will look at you as my role model. You are the best tennis player to me. I'm Haitian, but I don't write French very well so that's why I wrote in English.
Bianca. Haiti
-What a great website ! I am from Holland and I've seen you play in 1985 in Le Havre (France) in the final against Paul Torre. Mansour Bahrami was also there playing the doubles final. Since then I've followed your results and it's amazing you're still playing sixteen years later ! I admnire that very much, that you can keep your level up to today's standards. It's unbelievable! Good luck ! Andre Braaskam. Leeuwrden, The Netherlands
-Dear Sirs I am just writing to say how much I have enjoyed reading this Web site. Although living in England, Ronald Agenor has been my favourite Tennis Player on the ATP Tour since the late 1980's and I have followed his career with great interest ever since. Obviously by living in England it has not always been easy to find out information about him other than through ATP Books and occasional coverage on Eurosport Satellite TV when he appeared in matches covered in the very late 80's and early 90's. I still have a video recording I took of his last ATP Tournament win in Berlin in 1990 against Alexander Volkov which is still interesting to watch today. Since I obtained a computer with the Internet facility it has been fantastic to able to be able to follow all his results on the ATP Site as previously there was no chance of seeing results obtained in Challenger Tournaments for example. I was delighted earlier this year to discover this Web Site had been set up and have found it fascinating to learn more about him. It highlights what a credit he has been to his Sport over many years. I would like to pass on my Thanks for many years of pleasure following his career and would like to wish him all the very best for now and in the future. I was fortunate enough to be able to obtain tickets for Wimbledon last year but unfortunately they were for the first day. I had so hoped that his first round match would be on that day but it wasn't to be. I did in fact catch a slight glimpse of him prior to a practice session and did speak to someone who was a friend of his who said he would be happy to say "hello" if I waited till after the session was finished. Unfortunately, the practice court used was out of the public eye and he left by a different exit and thus I missed probably the only opportunity I will ever have of meeting him in person and thanking him personally for all the enjoyment received over the years following his career. I have always thought that with a such a long and interesting career behind him,Ronald should think about writing an autobiography on his career as I am sure it would prove to be a fascinating read. Do you know if he has plans to do anything like this in the future ? Once again, I would be extremely grateful if you could pass on my best wishes to him and let him know that there is someone in Englan
d who is a big Supporter albeit from afar. Thank You.
Robert Smith. England
-Salut Ronald, Je viens de voir ton match contre Kuerten à Montréal. T'aurais pu l'avoir, t'as fait belle figure.
-I send you best wishes from of North Moravia

-Allow me to express my deep admiration for you and your work. May I ask you a favour, please? I´d like to obtain your original signature if possible on photograph for my collection. I collect signatures of sportsmans from all world. Thank you very much indeed, Yours faithfully,

-G'Day Ronald, We are Australian students living in Melbourne and are massive fans of yours. During your Australian Open in 2000 we were privelaged to see you play against Max Mirnyi. Unfortunately you werent successful in this match, but we were the three guys heavily supporting you in this match, i am not sure if you remember this or not? but afterwards you thanked us for our support, and ever since this encounter we have been interested in your career and life after tennis. As we were only young, it was not apparent to us that you had had such a successful tennis career, but after more research, we discovered the triumph that was your career. That made us appreciate our brief encounter with you even more. The Australian Open isn't the same without characters like yourself. We just wanted to say we wish you all the best in the future with your wife and family, and keep up the good work. Best Wishes.
Cody Cannon and Nicholas Edwards. Australia
-Hi Ronald, I was so excited a year or two ago when I started seeing your name in the professional tennis results again. You have been one of my favorite players since I first saw you playing a Boston tournament during the Summer of 1991. I was 14 years old and on my school vacation, so my friend and I went to many of the matches and sat in the first row behind the baseline. I remember you hitting a serve so hard that the ball bounced into the stands where we were, but the ballboy made us throw it back. Anyways, I'm very glad to hear that you are playing pro tennis again. I wish I would have an opportunity to see you play live again, but sadly the Boston tournament no longer exists so I won't get to see you or any other pro tennis in person unless the tournament comes back here. But I always look for your name in the tennis results hoping that you're still active and doing well. Good luck, and thanks for taking the time to read this. Sincerely, Jonah Soolman Boston, MA
-I have been your admirer. It was fascinating you way of playing, impetuously, bravely and intelligently. You were possessing a perfect technology, had a great personality and much I officiate. I hope that all good goes out for you in the life. I wish a lot of luck you.
Jesus Garcia Higelmo. Spain
-This is Andrés from Argentina again. Just one thing (and PLEASE reply this message): are you retiring this year or will you be still playing in 2002? Anyway, there has never been a player who achieves the results you get this last years at your age (except, of course, Jimbo), so congratulations to you.
Andres. Argentina
-Hi Ronald, Enjoyed your site. Fascinating. Good luck in all your endeavors. Edward S. Fagen. USA Guest Book Hiya Ronald: First of all, I think you are a terrific tennis player. Your potential for the top 10 was always there. I remember watching your match with Gomez in the 1987 US Open, in which he won in a close battle, and then you beat him 9 months later at Roland Garros! I want to call you, it would be so thrilling to talk to a pro tennis player, but I wouldn't know what to say. Keep KICKIN' ASS on the tennis court. Your pal,
Viktor From Washington, DC
-Hi, Ronald, are you there? I´m an amateur tennis player from Argentina, the land of Vilas and Clerc, Gaudio and Zabaleta, Jaite and Squillari, etc. I've become a fan of you when you did your fantastic comeback in 1999, as i'm a fan too of Gianluca Pozzi and Magnus Gustafsson, who prove that is possible to play in the highest level of the ATP when you´re over 30, in this era of power and superathletes. I follow your activity day by day through Internet. I´d like to ask you some questions, if you don´t bother: *do you think you could be again in the top-100 at the end of this year, and what do you have to improve to achieve that? *are you becoming a best hard-court player in the last few months, according your results in San Antonio, Salinas and Calabasas? *will you keep playing even if your results are not what you expect? Sorry if i´m a little bold, but it would be great for me if you reply this message. Thank you and go on, ít´s fantastic what you´re doing! Andrés from Argentina

-Dear Ronald, How have you managed to maintain world class fitness after all of these years? What is your secret? When is your next S.F. Bay Area appearance? JS PS:You are an inspiration to us all. Thank you!

-Hi Ronald: It is such a great pleasure to read your achievements. Not that I was unaware of them since I have been one of your greatest fans since the French Open '89, but they will serve a proof to future generations and of tennis lovers like me. I recently moved to Margate, Florida and I wish you could come again to play around here. Believe me I would make such a big noise with it ! Good luck in your life and thanks for bringing a different picture of our country(Haiti) to the world. Best Regards,
Jean Roosevelt Jabouin.

-Ronald, Thank you for your response. I have always felt that you and Muster had similar endurance and strength, and could last through long matches very well. I also wanted to add that I went to the US Open and saw you play 2 times, first against Jared Palmer in 1988 and then the next year against Lawson Duncan. After your match against Palmer, I went up to you to get an autograph, and told you, "I hope you win the US Open." You may not remember this, since you have played so many matches since then, but I
thought I would let you know anyway. :) Regards, and keep inspiring people,
Avik Mukherjee
-Dear Mr Agenor I came across your website and read with interest about your comeback. As a German tennis journalist, unfortunately I couldn't follow your career and your comeback as u would have deserved it. When I started to play tennis in the mid eighties I followed your matches. You astonished me with smashing the strings on your head - which i copied in my matches. unfortunately it caused some headache. Nevertheless I'm very impressed by your comeback. It would be a great honour to chat with you about the present situation in the worlds tennis. so, if you are interested, please let me know. I publish www.tennis-center.de Germany's tennis magazin on the internet. I look forward to your reply Sincerely Yours
Marcel Brindöpke. Germany
-Hello Ronald, My name is Austin Hubert and I am a 35 year old (I was born in Oct, 1965) tennis fan that's just now returning to the game after 5 to 8 years of not picking up a racquet but whose determined to stop smoking, get healthy and start back playing local tournaments. Although I'm sure you've heard this a million times, I feel that I have to say it. You are an inspiration to everyone our age who plays a sport with enthusiasm and because you are a pro you inspire even more so. Although I confess my ignorance to having only recently taken note of you, when you've been on the tour for so long and definitely having been a force in the tennis world, I feel confident in declaring you my new tennis hero. I have a five year old daughter that I'm raising with the game and hope that at some point she will get the opportunity to meet champions like you and because I live in San Diego and know that you are just two hours away, maybe you can teach an ageing old enthusiast a thing or two when I make my comeback to being a weekend warrior. Keep on Keeping on Ronald. You've definitely got much heart!! Your new Fan,
Austin. San Diego, USA
