2/27/07: New York Training week at Club FIT in Jefferson Valley, NY Ronald Agenor’s recent visit to Club Fit Jefferson Valley (February 19-26, 2007) attracted not only players of different age and player levels, but spectators as well. Among the events held during Ronald’s weeklong visit to the club were a high performance junior camp, a special program for the Manhattan College Women’s tennis team, kid’s day, private lessons, mixed doubles, and an adult mini-camp.The event coincided with Club Fit’s president Beth Beck’s return to match play. Earlier in the week, Beth teamed with Ronald to play a fun and relaxing mixed doubles match against USTA 3.5 team captain Maureen Heaslip and the classic style of club member Don Klybas. The team of Beck-Agenor made a great doubles pair, in part due to the left and right-handed player combination. During his time on the ATP circuit, Ronald’s style of play created problems for the likes of Andre Agassi and others, resulting in Agassi loss to Ronald on a number of occasions.
